For simplicity and efficiency, I decided to return a MAX_DEGREE when the comparison
involves a type variable; and calculate the degree on the raw type otherwise.

Implement an algorith that can say how many hiearchy levels it takes to go from a Type to
another Type. Since this involves generics, we will have to convent what means an
hierarchy step when dealing with Generics.
