It's because default password for cluster connection is used and is necessary to change it. For simplicity we should add attribute cluster-password to messaging subsystem. This should be added to messaging-subsystem: {code} <subsystem xmlns="urn:jboss:domain:messaging:1.2"> <hornetq-server> ... <cluster-password>CHANGE ME!!</cluster-password> ... </hornetq-server> </subsystem> {code} This also applies for domain.xml configuration (for full-ha profile)
