This check ( think ) is one in org.jboss.as.controller.PathElement class. It has regexp to
check if path element is either a wildcard or valid path element - not a wildcard, \s or
[\x00-\x1F\x7F] . So reasons for failure may be various.

I'm not able to deploy a file if the filename has a space in the name. If I copy the
file to the deployments directory, I get this error in the log.
