David Lloyd commented on JBAS-7490:
-----------------------------------
Presently you can use the org.apache.log4j.Logger API if you need to change log levels;
the backing logger behind slf4j logs to log4j in AS 5.1. In 6.0, you can also use the JDK
logging API interchangeably. Is there any particular reason that it must be the logback
API?
cannot use logback-classic-0.9.17 inside a web application

We need access to logback APIs because we configure logging on the fly (change log levels
without restarting the app), therefore we need to ship this jar, which in turn contains a
static binding.
