A J2EE web app (.war). The AS dependency is something we're trying to remove for the GA so this app needs to be able to run on a standalone Servlet container i.e. Tomcat. This means, it should try not to use Entity Beans etc because this would simply reintroduce an AS dependency. 2. Developed using Seam. Seam is a JBoss product and well suited for the requirements of this application.
