I think it must mean that if you're talking _from_ EAP 6.x _to_ EAP 7.x, that e.g.
{{remote+http}} or {{http-remoting}} etc. are not supported, only {{remote}} is. Nothing
else makes sense AFAICT.

NOTE:

Can someone clarify what this means?
Does this mean that the "remote" protocol is only supported when hitting an EAP
7 server from an EAP 6 client? So using the remote protocol on an EAP 7 client is not
supported?
