Not sure what the problem is. In standardidentity-config you just put objectClasses that
the user entry should have and you can specify some initial attributes values. Later,
after user creation more can be set using UserPortlet and profile management. For this
there is a profile-config.xml which define which user attributes are mapped to DB/LDAP and
to which attributes exactly.

I am using LDAPUserModuleImpl and LDAPRoleModuleImpl so that I can create a new user and
role. When creating a new user, I get

This is with the latest OpenDS version which is OpenDS-1.0.0-build012. Despite the error,
identity management portlet confirms the user creation and there is already a
JBPORTAL-1935 to fix this.
