Stephane-
I was able to reproduce this problem on IE with the above mentioned setup.
I debugged through the IE request on the server and found out that no matter what
Locale/Language IE is setup to run on, for swf (Flash content) it only sends in its locale
as English.
I did notice that other files like images etc were requested in French locale.
I ran this same scenario on both FireFox and Opera (FireFox, both Linux and Windows),
Opera(Windows XP)
and everything is fine with these browsers.
At this point I think this is a bug in IE in the way it handles Flash content and
Locales/Languages

Environment: JBoss 4.0.5.GA
Portal 2.4.2RC1
Windows XP / Linux

I have to display a flash stored in CMS in a web page.
However, flash objects are not displayed with an url like /portal/content/.../object.swf
in IE except if Jboss is in the same machine (access by localhost).
In Firefox it work fine.
ex :
<object >
<embed
src="/portal/content/site/accueil/movies/765x344_v2_sansdemarque.swf"
type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="765"
height="334"
quality="high" wmode="transparent" />
</object>
