David Lloyd commented on AS7-5258:
----------------------------------
We have an internal interceptor concept that we use to do things like set up transactions
and security context. This is what I was referring to, not EE user interceptors. Sorry,
I should have been more clear.
MDC is lost during @Asynchronous EJB calls
------------------------------------------
Key: AS7-5258
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/AS7-5258
Project: Application Server 7
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: Logging
Affects Versions: 7.1.2.Final (EAP)
Reporter: Patrick Ruckstuhl
Assignee: James Perkins
If I set a variable into the MDC, this is propagated fine through to synchronous EJB
calls, but is lost in asynchronous EJB calls.
Should the MDC not be copied over to the thread retrieved from the thread pool?
