There is an existing wildFly integration test that demonstrates this. (see org.jboss.as.test.integration.ws.serviceref.ServiceRefWithoutExplicitWsdlServletTestCase) Also see the original bug filed against this behavior and the comments on the cause, https://issues.jboss.org/browse/WFLY-3262.
