Mark Kempster commented on AS7-3195:
------------------------------------
Correction - I can specify an external properties file on startup with -P, but I'm
looking for a hot way to do the same thing, without having to alter jboss's start
script or restart a running jboss.
Ideally, I'd like to be able, in a running as7 instance, to copy a .properties file
into a managed directory, then deploy a .war that has variables in persistence.xml and
have the persistence.xml variables expanded with properties defined in the file.
Thanks again.
Expansion of variables in persistence.xml
-----------------------------------------
Key: AS7-3195
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/AS7-3195
Project: Application Server 7
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: JPA / Hibernate
Affects Versions: 7.0.2.Final
Reporter: Hasan Ceylan
Assignee: Oleg Kulikov
Fix For: 7.1.1.Final
Hello,
I am not sure if this is a bug or a feature request.
IIR, expansion of variables in the form of ${foo.bar} was supported in persistence.xml
(and may be other).
In Jboss 7.X, I see this is not supported.
Regards,
Hasan Ceylan
