Unable to use Bound Variables in From Accumulate evaluation clause
------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: DROOLS-1910
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/DROOLS-1910
Project: Drools
Issue Type: Enhancement
Components: Guided Rule Editor, Guided Template Editor
Affects Versions: 6.4.0.Final
Environment: RedHat Linux 2.6.32-642.13.1.el6.x86_64
Firefox 45.6.0
Reporter: Stephen Slaboda
Attachments: bound_vars_from_accumulate.JPG, bound_vars_from_accumulate2.JPG
In many locations, "Bound Variables" is an allowed selection for the right-hand
side of an evaluation. However, in the upper evaluation portion of a From Accumulate
function, this is not provided as an option when it probably should be.
The workaround is to use the expression editor, but this adds a slew of additional
clutter that is really not necessary in this case.
Perhaps this is fixed in Drools 6.5.0 or 7.0.0, but I was unable to locate a ticket, and
due to company requirements, I cannot just get the latest version to try it out.
