Richard Achmatowicz commented on JBMESSAGING-556:
-------------------------------------------------
I had a look for some existing JBossMQ functional tests in the JBossMQ source directory
(jbossmq) and didn't see any. Is it the case that the only tests (whether functional,
stress, performance or smoke) for JBossMQ were in the AS testsuite - that is, those I have
been looking at?
Thus, is your intention to consider the JBossMQ-specific tests which were running in the
AS testsuite to be the 'functional' tests for JBossMQ and that these should
cotinue to be run in the AS testsuite, although now grouped together as 'functional
tests for JBossMQ', as there is no separately developed stand-alone test framework for
them to run in, as there is for Messaging.
We would then have several sets of JMS provider tests in the AS testsuite:
1. generic JMS tests run against Messaging
2. generic JMS tests run against JBossMQ
3. JBossMQ functional tests run against JBossMQ
Isolate JBossMQ-specific test

Isolate JbossMQ specific tests so they'll be run as the JBossMQ functional testsuite,
and NOT as integration tests.
