Subordinate JCA coordinator throws unnecessary heuristc from clean rollback in one phase
commit.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: JBTM-428
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBTM-428
Project: JBoss Transaction Manager
Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public (Everyone can see)
Components: JTA Implementation
Affects Versions: 4.4.0.GA, 4.2.3.CP02, 4.2.3.CP01
Reporter: Jonathan Halliday
Assignee: Jonathan Halliday
Fix For: 4.2.3.SP8, 4.2.3.CP03, 4.5
The subordinate TransactionImple.doOnePhaseCommit throws a HeuristicRollbackException on
an ABORTED, which is overkill. A RollbackException would be more appropriate. The current
situation leaves XATerminatorImple.commit unable to distinguish between clean rollbacks in
e.g. setRollbackOnly cases vs. actual heuristics.
