While this solution is not ideal, setting the runtime parameters works: -DproxySet=true -Dhttp.proxyHost=foo.com -Dhttp.proxyPort=8080 -Dhttps.proxyHost=ssl.foo.com -Dhttps.proxyPort=8443 However, there has got to be a way tho to set up proxies at the webservice client level tho in jbossws... anyone?
