[JBossWS] - Setting org.jboss.ws.timeout on client

Hello, I'm trying to set the timeout value on my jax-ws client in Jboss-4.2.1.GA and Jbossws-1.2.1 without success. Any help at all would be much appreciated. I've tried via jboss-client.xml like so <jboss-client> | <jndi-name>jbossws-client</jndi-name> | <service-ref> | <service-ref-name>Activity Authorized</service-ref-name> | <port-component-ref> | <service-endpoint-interface>com.mycompany.webservices.client.ActivityAuthorizedService</service-endpoint-interface> | <port-qname>{http://webservices.mycompany.com/}ActivityAuthorized</port-qname> | <stub-property> | <name>org.jboss.ws.timeout</name> | <value>10</value> | </stub-property> | </port-component-ref> | </service-ref> | </jboss-client> | Without luck. I've also tried programmatically via info from the wiki | ActivityAuthorized endpoint = service.getActivityAuthorizedPort(); | | Stub stub = (Stub)endpoint; | stub._setProperty(StubExt.PROPERTY_CLIENT_TIMEOUT0, "10"); | But this results in a classcast on the 2nd line. Hi! Everything I know is that the javax.xml.soap... implementations are found in the $JRE_HOME/lib/rt.jar ($JDK_HOME/jre/lib/rt.jar). If you want to override these implementation then you must place the correct jar files in the endorsed folder. You can read more about the Java Endorsed Override Mechanism here http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/technotes/guides/standards/. Make sure the system property java.endorsed.dirs property is set. I think JBoss does this by default by adding the folder $JBOSS_HOME/lib/endorsed. So adding the correct jar files to this folder may fix your problem. If that doesn't work, I really don't know. Yeah, that's correct! But, shouldn't I be able to use the endorsed dirs? my jboss-endorsed has the jboss-saaj.jar and also my JAVA_HOME/jre/lib/endorsed Should I downgrade my JVM? Hi! This is probably because you are running JBoss with Java SE 1.6. The SOAP implementation is bundled in the std Java 1.6 distribution. That is probably why you can't find the specified jar on your harddrive. [JBossWS] - Assigning jndi-name to a rpc-client in war

I'm developing a pojo rpc client (JSR-109 style) in a full J2EE aplication, but I don't understand how I should do to assign a <jndi-name> to the <service-ref>. My client is very similar to the one shown in the JSR-109 pojo chapter of the RPC user guide http://jbws.dyndns.org/mediawiki/index.php?title=JAX-RPC_User_Guide). The main difference is that this client is part of a larger application that has an application.xml and a web.xml. Hence I placed the <service-ref> in the web.xml and jboss-web.xml, and I have no application-client.xml/jboss-client.xml. The problem comes from the fact that the <jndi-name> is expected before the <service-ref> in the jboss-client.xml but not in the jboss-web.xml. How shoul I do to associate a <jndi-name> to my service? [JBossWS] - deploying a web service on jboss 4.0.5
