Try deploying the sample web services and run the sample clients. The client will print the SOAP request/envelope log. If you use eclipse you can use the soap request monitoring feature. Hello, I am just beginning to deploy and test the samples delivered with the ws package and I was trying to find somewhere a log of the soap envelope as described in the user guide ... [JBossWS] - Re: Cannot find child element: int_1

I am having exactly the same problem; works just fine when using a Java Client but when using a VB client (SoapClient30) I get a "Cannot find child element" error. Calls with no parameters work fine. Calls with any parameter, regardless of the type cause the "cannot find child element" error. I upgraded to the latest version of JBossWS (1.0.4) and it still does not work. I tried different SOAP Binding Styles: RPC/literal, DOCUMENT/literal. Did you ever find a resolution? [JBossWS] - Error message display from JBossWS 1.0.4 (and prior)

Hi, I'm consistently getting the following Error message that is printed somewhere from within JBossWS (using the SAAJ API): [STDERR] [Fatal Error] :-1:-1: Premature end of file. This happens when trying to decode an empty message that is received by the Servlet and parsed through createMessage(...). Since we capture empty messages received in our code anyways this message is anoying in the log files for us. I haven't found anything how to disable this message. If this message can't be disabled it should be filed as a bug. Well the sources don't compile for me. I am following instructions from here: http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=JBWSFAQBuildAndInstall I have tried both against jboss 4.0.x as well as jboss 5.0.0.beta2. Jboss itself compiles and run ok. But Jbossws doesn't compile. I have used following to get the jbossws 2.0 CR2 sources svn co http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/jbossws/tags/jbossws-2.0.0.CR2 I am stuck now. Can't use jbossws1.0.x because it doesn't seem to support <xsd:choice> and can't try version 2.0 CR2. Any help would be appreciated from folks who have been able to use/test version 2.0 CR2. It works, thanks I have default\deploy\jbossws14.sar\jbossws.beans which is a file I rename the file and unzip it under default\deploy\jbossws14.sar\jbossws.beans (which is now a directory) and I find the relevant file as default\deploy\jbossws14.sar\jbossws.beans\META-INF\jboss-beans.xml Only I couldn't figure out that a 2Kb files could be an archive. I wonder why it was zipped. I should mention that this solution is also not ideal because at some point down the track, this code may need to be ported to OracleAS, and hence using proprietary JBoss functionality is not a great idea.
