Hi Alex, Thanks for the reply. I gave the absolute path for processdefinition.xml file. But still i am getting the same error. Then i placed the processdefinition.xml file in WEB-INF folder and used the below code. ProcessDefinition processDefinition = ProcessDefinition.parseXmlResource("processdefinition.xml"); Please correct me if i made mistake anywhere. Regarding NameNotFoundException, i am using the JBOSS server 4.2.2 which came along with jbpm-jpdl-3.2.3 suite.
