Of course this may be too sweeping a question... Has anyone in the JBPM community had to deal with deployment of business processes on a global scale? My company is composed of offices spread across the globe and our business processes span branches worldwide. The company has gone to great lengths to develop a global data distribution solution (that hooks into JPA/Hibernate). Unfortunately said solution cannot be used with POJOs (otherwise I might host the PVM backing store in it). What's missing for me is a way to federate process state at a global scale. Am I mad to think jBPM processes could actually work with federated process state? Should I be heading down a different path like use partner links and more (branch) autonomous processes ?
