I had DBIdGenerator in my config , i rolled back everything to see whats causing the
problem ..

May be i had id-generator in my config + hibernate-configuration as you said. Not sure if
this was causing the Spring session to be closed after creating id ? I will try it and let
you know .. Thanks.
