Not needed, see http://docs.jboss.com/jbpm/v4.0/devguide/html_single/#mailsupport

You can use groupnames in the mail template and afaik even EL in there so you can refer to
e.g. a variable or whatever.

Might even be that sending an email to the 'candidate group' a task is assigned to
is the default behaviour of jBPM 4.
