Oh I missed a third option from Ken.
1) upgrade to Drools 5
2) Rollback FP
3) We had the same issue with IBM JDK. Upgrade to java 6R4 to solve the problem

Has anyone found a solution to the "Websphere FP23" issue yet?
From reading this thread it sounds like we have 2 options:
Upgrade to 5.0 or rollback the Websphere FP.
What have others decided to do?
Thanks for any input.

I am sure it is not a Drools problem because everything worked fine on
WebSphere 6.1 FP 17 and 21 but with FP 23 the problem started.
We did raise an issue with IBM to see if it is possible to find a
solution.
