Hello,
I've encountered the same issue as described by Vann_the_Red. My GUVNOR
version is 5.4.0-SNAPSHOT.
The problem is that I can't assign defined variable as a value in formula
field in "THEN" section of my rule. It is due to field mask that allows me
to enter only digits (type of the field is long). When I click on "formula",
the textarea containing "=" appears, but I cannot type in variable name, nor
any character other than digits. Furthermore, if I delete "=" I cannot
re-enter it.
I'm providing the screenshot of the rule:

As I said, the type of clientId field is long. I would like to enter there
"=cli.id".
I'm kindly asking for help.

Hello,
Please advise which version of Guvnor you are using.
Please also provide a few explicit examples where behavior is not as you'd
expect (screen shots of the rule and a few words would be cool).
Thanks,
Mike
