up to drools 5.1 (more or less), the new default is jbpm flows, for rules or not. JBPM let you do what you can do with former .rf files. To be shorter : It is the same, at least seen from a ruleflow usage. Before you ask : you need to add jbpm jars to your drools runtime in order to make the flows work.
