Re: [rules-users] How to install and configure the oryx designer in Drools-guvnor ?

I followed steps simple steps from : http://blog.athico.com/2010/09/bpmn2-authoring-in-drools-guvnor.html and also I am writing those steps below. How to use the designer: a) Download the designer.war from here<http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/labs/labs/jbossrules/contrib/desig... unzip it into $jboss_home/server/$config/deploy directory. b) Start up your server instance. c) Navigate to http://localhost:8080/designer/editor I am using Jboss 5.0.0.GA,The exact name of my .war file is designer(designer.war), I couldn't find any file related to designer.war in log file, means I can confirm that designer.war is not deploying properly, moreover guvnor-drools.war is deploying properly and it is also showing deployment status in log file. The problem with my designer.war only. Please any one can tell me the link where I can get latest designer.war file for Drools-guvnor ? Thank u Estaben for your reply. I don't know why, but I can't access the blog you mention, so I'm not sure which steps did you follow. From your logs, it seems you are using jboss AS 2.1.1, am I right? I'm not sure how to check if a particular webapp is deployed or not in jboss AS, but the first thing you can check is the output log of the app server to see if there is any error there. By the way, what is the exact name of the .war file you are deploying? And regarding your last question, you don't need to have eclipse plugin installed in order to run designer.
