Hi, I think I got it sorted, please see my last comment on the bug. I think a more permanent solution would be to create a new assembly descriptor targeting jboss 7.1.2/eap 6. On my current build I'm not only removing all log dependencies but also many unnecessary dependencies like jta, ejb, jsf jars that reduce the war to ~80MB.
