Kris, I have followed your instructions and downloaded all files related to,
https://hudson.jboss.org/hudson/job/drools/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/t...
which are snapshot 5.2.0 and also the designer from,
http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/labs/labs/jbossrules/contrib/designer/1.0....
(when everything works fine i will also try the latest designer from
http://github.com/intalio/process-designer as mentioned by Antoine)
The aim is to simply upload the sample.bpmn as generated from eclipse to a
package on guvnor (i.e. defaultPackage) and compile the package in order to
view and run the process from gwt-console (since if it is not compiled no
process definitions are shown).
I think i have tried all possible combinations i.e. 5.1.1 and 5.2.0 files
(drools runtime, guvnor, gwt-console, gwt-console-server, eclipse plugin),
only eclipse 5.2.0 and the rest 5.1.1 (all in jboss-5.1.0.GA) as well as the
5.1.1 standalone guvnor (jboss-4.2.3.GA). All installations take place via
ant and the corresponding build.xml.
Whenever I try to compile an added package in guvnor (i.e. defaultPackage) i
get,
unable to parse xml : Exception class java.lang.NullPointerException : null
if i login to gwt-console and try to get process definitions ( I would
simply expect nothing....) I get,
[ERROR] <ul><li>URL:
<li>Action: 'org.jboss.bpm.console.client.process.UpdateDefinitionsAction'
<li>Exception: 'class java.io.IOException'</ul>

Finally if i try to open the bpmn with the 1.0.0.026-SNAPSHOT designer i
get,
HTTP Status 500 -
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class
org.oryxeditor.server.EditorHandler
....
Okay, I'm full of problems , but the most important one is not being able
to compile a package in order to use the gwt-console for viewing and running
the processes.
Is anyone else facing the same "unable to parse xml : Exception class
java.lang.NullPointerException : null " problem??
I would greatly appreciate any help , thanks....
