As it turned out, this problem came about because I had a model that was
based on a POJO jar file. The jar that was in Guvnor contained the
offending field(s), but when the package was being loaded it was using a
version of the jar that did not contain the offending fields. This served
as a lesson to me, demonstrating why updating the serialVersionId is an
important step in managing POJOs.

New subject: NoSuchFieldError: session
Hi Lance,
I am using Drools 5.3.0. Started working on BPMN procss flow, sub flows etc.
Found a respective blog which helped with the same

When i am trying to use the sample code at my end it s giving the same
session error. It could be to solve the compile time errors in the code am
using these files as well. jbpm-bpmn2-5.1.0.Final.jar,
jbpm-flow-builder-5.1.0.Final.jar, jbpm-flow-5.3.0.Final.jar
The file clearly show the version changes. Not able to solve this somehow.
Would appreciate further assistance on the same.

I have upgraded the version of Drools that we are using, to Drools 5.3.5.
As for the jBPM jars that we are using, we use
jbpm-bpmn2-5.2.5.Final.jar
jbpm-flow-5.2.5.Final.jar
jbpm-flow-builder-5.2.5.Final.jar.
