I had the same problem and solved it like this after going through
the
source code:
Properties props = new Properties();
props.setProperty("drools.dialect.java.compiler", "JANINO");
KnowledgeBuilderConfiguration config =
KnowledgeBuilderFactory.newKnowledgeBuilderConfiguration(props, null);
KnowledgeBuilder kbuilder =
KnowledgeBuilderFactory.newKnowledgeBuilder(config);
