I changed hibernate tools tests to use hibernate-testing, there are some features I think
make things easier, like BaseCoreFunctionalTestCase, which provides ServiceRegistry, SF
and others
and @SkipForDialects, @DialectRequires etc.
Yes, I considered that but skipped it when it made it hard to test against multiple
versions of hibernate.
Might be different now - but junit4 isn't a hard requirement then.
