The deployment fails due to JBSEAM-4505 which was previously seen in other tests but not with this .war. This validation error is not seen and the admin-console initializes successfully if this argument is not used. Hibernate/AS team is waiting for a clean run from the EJB3 testsuite, so i haven't spent more time on removing and testing any redundant classpath entries. And also, there's a discussion going on about why the jbossall-client.jar has only selective jar entries http://community.jboss.org/thread/147934 . But I agree, that's much better to start with all client libs and then add something else if necessary (plus less prone to breakage). After my last commit we got rid of a third of the work by getting rid of the 600K calls to getContext.
