[JBoss JIRA] (WFLY-4941) WFLYCLEJBINF0005: Failed to cancel[schedule] expiration/passivation of bean UnknownSessionID on primary owner.: ExecutionException: TimeoutException: timeout sending message
by Radoslav Husar (JIRA)
Radoslav Husar commented on WFLY-4941:
--------------------------------------
On a clustering call 19/02/2016 we decided that this exception is harmless so we will just lower this onto debug logging level. The related WFLY-6128 to be closed as rejected, see description on the Jira.

> Seen in our failover tests - this warning message is present in each server log in each test we have run so far.
> When each server in cluster is restarting after failover, other servers get CacheTopology change (the starting server is added) and the servers log this warning message many times:

[JBoss JIRA] (WFLY-6128) CommandDispatcher throws "TimeoutException: timeout sending message to A" when all responses are NoSuchService
by Radoslav Husar (JIRA)
Radoslav Husar closed WFLY-6128.
--------------------------------
Resolution: Rejected
On clustering call 19/02/2016 we decided to not change this, the NoSuchServices responses will manifest as TimeoutException and this is thus just a documentation issue. This can be changed later withough breaking compatibility (adding more specific exception). I have attached a patch from the proof-of-concept branch of what this can roughly look like should this be needed.

> This is happening because when all the responses are filtered in JGroups then getting the value is confusing since a response was received but no value has been obtained so it will throw a timeout even though the remote communication was complete.

> when working with wildfly in a cloud/paas environment (like openshift, fabric8, docker, heroku et al) it'd be great to have a git repository for the configuration folder so that writes work something like:
> * git pull
> * write the, say, standalone.xml file
> * git commit -a -m "some comment"
> * git push
> (with a handler to deal with conflicts; such as last write wins).
> Then an optional periodic 'git pull' and reload configuration if there is a change.
> This would then mean that folks could use a number of wildfly containers using docker / openshift / fabric8 and then have a shared git repository (e.g. the git repo in openshift or fabric8) to configure a group of wildfly containers. Folks could then reuse the wildfly management console within cloud environments (as the management console would, under the covers, be loading/saving from/to git)
> Folks could then benefit from git tooling when dealing with versioning and audit logs of changes to the XML; along with getting the benefit of branching, tagging.

[JBoss JIRA] (DROOLS-1059) Drools can't find rules under stress

Finally the session cache is breaking down my rules. The isolation of session inside the cache is not guaranteed and make unpredictible results.
I must rollback to Drools 6.0.1.Final till we find another solution or fixe this issue :(

> In my knowledge base, I have many rules.
> All of them are working very well in production with drools 6.0.1-FINAL even in stress condition hight trafic (arount 40 hits seconds)
> This bug append when we made an upgrade with drools 6.3.0-FINAL which is compatible with jdk8 mandatory in my case.
> So now when I put my rules under stress test (benchmarking) I got this random error.
> Drools is unable to find a query (not always the same one).
