Disabling that would cause hot-redeploy of files to not work properly for exploded deployments.
I would recommend upping your ulimits as default are really low.

The proposed fix has been discussed with Alessio. The Service Ref test-cases need extra permissions for their deployments because CXF guys are not willing to add more privileged blocks into CXF codebase. These extra permissions are aligned to the current JBossWS-CXF testsuite, see \[1\].
The proposed fix, however, needs additional fix in JAXWS SPI, see JBEE-162.
Note: a potential fix for all these perms in CXF can be seen at \[2\].
