Wesley Hales commented on JBPORTAL-1842:
----------------------------------------
Ok, so here is the question: If a user is redirected to the portal login page (either
through a page flow or by clicking a link) what options should they have? We know they
need a login form and button. What else? Possibly a register button? In it's simplest
form we are clicking a link and going to a page and usually this does not require a cancel
or js controlled back button. (i.e - Go to
google.com and click on "Sign in",
what options do you have? You either login or register. And to go back on track, you must
click the browser's back button) and this is the same for most web apps.
Maybe I am not getting the mindset of the portal user that you guys are talking about, so
please help me out if I am not getting it. One thing we could use is a more intuitive
splash screen for the login page, and not just a simple login box. I am open to
suggestions.
Login form should have a cancel option
