[JBoss jBPM] - What does the FROMINDEX in JBPM_TRANSITION means? - jbpm-users

hi, 
I notice a column named FROMINDEX in JBPM_TRANSITION table.But i can't find a mapping
field in .hbm.xml .I 

How is it persisted and what does it means?
i try to use searchfunctionality,but i can't get any answer.
