this seem to be a problem with tomcat-btm config u did...
u can follow the steps below to check if it is configured properly.....
firstly, what r u using for Java development...i mean Eclipse/netbeans..etc
mention that
secondly, try running the tomcat instance externally using the startup.bat
file in the \bin directory of tomcat
and check if it shows a message indicatinfg 'jdbc/testDS1' is registered as
a resource
