I was using jdk1.5.0_18 on Windows Vista.
I downloaded the fix and I can build successfully now. Thanks!

There seems to be a bunch of bugs related to method overloading and
generics in Sun's bug database. I am inclined to believe that method
overloading is evil like the FAN guys think.
