mutable versus immutable natural keys

One of the enhancements I want to get into 4.1 is HHH-2879 / HHH-2896
regarding adding an actual API for entity loading by natural key.
However, I think at the same time we should be more explicit and
consistent about what it means when we say that a mapped natural key is
mutable or immutable. Basically, is "immutable" a hint from the user
that the values cannot change (so that we can perform certain
optimizations)? Or is "immutable" a mandate that we have to verify the
natural key has not changed, either through Hibernate or "behind" us?
Today we kind of have a blend of those two.
Personally I think we should take it as a hint from the user that the
values will not change. WDYT?

Gradle release plugin

Some folks have been working on a release plugin for Gradle and just
released their first version.

Want to take a look at it and see if it meets our basic needs. The hope
is that it handles all the basic stuff we need (looks like it does) such
as tagging, building, uploading, etc. Then using standard Gradle hooks
such as <task>.doLast we could bolt on pushing docs, SF uploads. Maybe
even some announcing?
Also, Hardy pointed out to me the other day that there is now a JAXB
plugin for Gradle that we may want to peek at for the 5.0 work.

Minor issues/questions about Hibernate Core/ORM documentation

I've uploaded the 4.0.1.Final documentatation to http://docs.jboss.org/hibernate/core/4.0/.
Maybe this was already discussed but, should the switch from "core" to "orm" affect the URL for the 4.0 documentation (i.e., http://docs.jboss.org/hibernate/orm/4.0/)?
Also, I noticed that http://docs.jboss.org/hibernate/stable/core/ points to 3.6.9.Final docs. Should it point to http://docs.jboss.org/hibernate/core/4.0/ (or http://docs.jboss.org/hibernate/orm/4.0/)?
I ended up using the documentation downloaded from the SourceForge distribution because I got errors when I tried to build the Javadoc from the 4.0.1 tag using "gradle javadoc":

I also noticed that the Javadoc includes test classes. It would be nice to exclude those.
I really liked how convenient it was to be able to just copy the contents of the documentation directory from the distribution into the staging directory for rsync-ing. The only change I had to make after copying was to change hem/en to hem/en-US. I haven't looked into this, but I imagine that would be an easy thing to fix.
Should I create Jira issues for any of these?
