Exactly. And the matrix can become even more complicated if we attempt multiple
instances/versions of our bundles and client bundles.

This sounds like a good idea. You will hit the more general problem of the compatibility
matrix and snapshot against snapshot issue we need to address to avoid the micro version
incompatibilities that have hit Search and ORM recently.
