Hi, I was involved in trying to replicate the following issue: https://hibernate.atlassian.net/browse/HHH-10600 I added a replicating test case for Hibernate 4.3.11. On Hibernate 5.0.8 it works, so we only have to backport it to 4.x. I added also some unit tests in hibernate-entitymanager which you can be found here: https://github.com/vladmihalcea/hibernate-orm/tree/HHH-10600 Is the backport doable?
