It shouldn't be hard, I was missing only some JPA tests before you
reminded me I have to manage also "auto-flush";
so now I have to re-think it a bit (the context has to be shared in
the two listeners) but I don't foresee a complex patch.
Regarding a 3.1.1 release more work has been done, like the memory
leak in scrollable resultsets: I'd appreciate if
someone could check that before a release.

I think we still should release a 3.1.1 with the work from Sanne on out of
transaction flushing. Sanne, is the patch easy to apply on a different
branch (a branch forking off the 3.1.0 tag)?
Steve, do you have a timeline for 3.5?
