Can the ManagedComponent be expanded to fire actions on the Component. Like clearing out a Queue, or restarting a Connection Pool. Connection Pools/DataSource start stop How about restart? The type of a ManagedProperty can be a org.jboss.metatype.api.values.CompositeValue, which can represent either a list or a map. The current DataSource capabilities need to be expanded by the real deployer. If your just looking to test these types of values, I can add connectionProperties to the current ds override mapping. I have talked to Weston... if I used "jms-message-inflow-driven-bean" as the invoker for Standard Message Drive Bean on standardjboss.xml, the transaction was started before onMessage. But I suggest we keep the if listener instanceof ServerSession. I have talked to Weston and he thinks that is pretty standard. As this will save the expected behavior on both invokers. [Design of POJO Server] - Expand Datasource template to more than 10 properties.

Currently there are only 10 properties defined in the Datasource template. And since there are three types of datasources, should there be more than one template defined for a Datasource? Some properties are shared among the types, but some are distinct to the type, some of those that are distinct, might be required just for that type. If they shared the same template, it might be difficult to enforce those required properties. So if an XA datasource has a required property that isn't a property of a LocalTX datasource. [Design of POJO Server] - Remove Resource - removes entire deployment, the whole file.

If I delete a DataSource ManagedComponent it deletes the xxx-ds.xml file. But what happens if there are more than one datasource defined in the xxx-ds.xml file. Or what if the ManagedComponent was a SecurityDomain in the login-config.xml or a Queue or Topic defined in the destinations xml file. It should just remove that entry, and not necessariy delete the xml file.
