What is the codebase for the org.jboss.test.ws.jaxws.endpoint.EndpointTestCase in the JBAS-5257 issue? [Design of JBoss Remoting, Unified Invokers] - Prerequisites for including Remoting 3 in JBossAS

I'd like to use this forum thread to accumulate a list of requirements that need to be met (in terms of features/functionality) for Remoting 3.x to be included with JBossAS as a replacement for the various things using Remoting 2.x today. we need to move those classes to 2.6 where they will be reused temporarily, so we can remove them from the portlet module. the reason is that they are not adapted anymore to portlet request encoding/decoding anymore. for now the portlet module uses an approach close to what WSRP do. I removed PortletInvocation.REQUEST_PROPERTIES and PortletInvocatin.RESPONSE_PROPERTIES the reason is that they are not used anymore as the properties now are part of the API. Actually in JBoss AS, all the portal services remain JMX mbeans. For other version we will probably use the microcontainer annotations for creating management services. Perhaps also we are going to make more the difference between internal services and management interface exposed. [Design of JBoss Portal] - portlet-api jar updated in maven repo

I updated portlet-api jar in JBoss maven repo (http://repository.jboss.com/maven2/javax/portlet/portlet-api/2.0/) to the latest one. Because the 2.0 version was already used in the repo, maven may not update this jar in your local repo. So if you'll have any problems building portlet module please try to remove ~/.m2/repository/javax/portlet/2.0 dir. Mainly to remove unnecessary dependency on JBoss AS (as we aim to be server agnostic...). The lifecycle is managed by JBoss Microcontainer and modules are plain POJOs. The only difference is the methods to control lifecycle - start/startService and stop/stopService.
