Is the imported xsd actually available along with the wsdl when the validation is perfomed? Perhaps you might create a jira issue for this, attaching a simple application proving this. JBossWS native supports both SOAP 1.1 and SOAP 1.2. This is configured according to the binding type specified in the wsdl being deployed / consumed.
