create your own ear and embed jBPM in it. So simply do not share the jBPM libs between processes but give them their own libraries etc... Hi, I am doing some high volume tests using JMeter and I have this warning which appears when I start 10.000 simple process: anonymous wrote : 10:43:59,913 WARN [ProxyWarnLog] Narrowing proxy to class org.jbpm.graph.node.StartState - this operation breaks == I found this post (http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=73123) where koen.aers says: anonymous wrote : This is a Hibernate message. This is because all node types are stored in the same table. They get loaded by Hibernate lazily (in fact they are not loaded, but there is a stub in the collection representing all the different nodes of the collection). When you are actually using the nodes (in this case a tasknode) the object in the collection gets replaced by an actual TaskNode instance. This operation effectively breaks the == operator. Nothing really to worry about ;-) I'm ok with him :-). But...... I found this article (http://www.len.ro/2008/10/jbpm-optimization/) where the author: - First takes 10 minutes to achieve the method "List tasks = (List) getTaskListCommand.execute(jbpmContext);" and have the same warning. - Then tries to tune Hibernate queries and takes 6 seconds after to do the same thing. Still struggling with this one. Now I work with process definition that is already in Oracle DB. So I create new instances of process or manipulate existing ones. Still I am not getting data, that is changed within application, saved in DB until I don't restart Jboss server. example: I log in in my application and am able to se my current process instances. But f I change existing one (go to next task) or create new instance, nothing is seen in DB...until I restart server. On the other hand if I correct some data directly in DB and I refresh my application I get new data. There must be some cache which I don't know how to handle on process changes!?! I would appreciate some example of similar working app. or some hint... Hi Ronald, Thanks a lot for your answer (I was not "watching" this topic so I missed your answer). My knowledge of hibernate is quite limited, however I thought that there might be a cleaner way of getting the timer and the action. Being honest I didn't check how the information of the other entities (tokens, nodes, etc.) are retrieved from the DB and transformed into objects. I will have a look to it. Thanks. If you store these three variables as strings instead of RegistrationInfo this task would be really simple. (You could create a RegistrationInfo from the strings where needed.) In table jbpm_variableinstance you see that date, long, double, and strings are handled specially, very simple to access. All other serialized variables are put into jbpm_bytearray/byteblock i.e. essentially stored as a blob. hi, i use an Expression for a node mail , to specify the TO parameter, and i think it works perfectly on subject parameter too or text :) (but i don't tried yet). This is how it is described in process definition file. anonymous wrote : | <mail-node name="mailSender" to="#{mail_address}"> | It work fine for me. The value is automatically evaluated from contex , when the workflow approach the node mail. I hope this help. T.
