you do not have to 'strip out' the pvm. In the source it is a (maven) module and you can build it separately very easily. Not sure why the choice was made to put it under the same project, but it does not lead to big problems afaik. [jBPM Users] - PVM release

Hi I use PVM, still the version 1.0 alpha 2. Now as jBPM 4.1 is released will there also be a separate release of PVM? Or should I just cut out the pvm package from jbpm? Since this process definition is preventing me from viewing all available definitions in the webinterface I decided to tidy up and remove the deployements. But neither deleteDeployement() nor deleteDeploymentCascade() does work for my process. The same exception is thrown. Seems very strange to me. Hi Ronald, Shame on me that I did not search in JIRA before but I was absolutely convinced it's my fault and not jBPM's one. However, I cannot find anything related in JIRA. Yesterday I removed the cycles in the process definition because I was not sure about them but they should be no problem. I examined my Tomcat logs and finally found that the decision handlers used in the process definition cannot be found. So maybe the error message is just misleading. | org.jbpm.pvm.internal.wire.WireException: couldn't create object: couldn't load class AuthorityChecker | AuthorityChecker is the implementation for one of my decision nodes in my process definition. There is an ant script to deploy a process and its classes to JBoss. Right now I am using the ant task to deploy my process to Tomcat. Is there such a place like userlibs on JBoss? Where to put the created jar with the decision handler classes and further ones (like for java nodes). I just checked the jbpm 4.1, the installation has been taken out in this release. The integration work is done. I kept it as 'work in progress' as there was an issue in the IDM, it doesnt provide the user defined groupId. Tom like to IDM supports it. In the current code base, I am using the idm gorupId -> jBPM groupId mapping as a interim solution. The functionality should work, but I haven't tested against jbpm 4.1. It works against jbpm 4.0 AFAIK. Also, the integration work was only tested against JBoss AS 5.x. Hi, I had the same problem. I checked the hibernate config for HistoryTask (jbpm.history.hbm.xml) and could not find an attribute called startTime. Additionally I could find a member of that name in the HistoryTask class. But I found a member and a mapping for CreateTime! [jBPM Users] - HistoryActivityInstanceQuery.startedAfter(Date) doesnt work

No exceptions are thrown. If I call startedAfter() on the HistoryActivityInstanceQuery, then no data is returned. I even tried setting startedAfter(new Date(0)) and still got back no results. When I remove the call to startedAfter(), I get back results. I am using jbpm 4.1. [jBPM Users] - jBPM4 and JBoss IDM

I'm trying to figure out how to integrate jBPM 4.1 Identity with JBoss IDM. The final goal is to use JBoss IDM for both Seam and jBPM 4 so I can use the same back end for identity for both products. I already installed and make it work IDM with Seam. According to the developer's guide it is already implemented, but the jboss/build.xml mentioned doesn't exist in jBPM 4.1 as downloaded from sourceforge. I saw on JIRA (https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBPM-2172) that this integration is work in progress. It looks like that the jira issue is more about auto configuring IDM for jBPM rather than implementation. I saw that at jbpm-4.1/src/org/jbpm/pvm/internal/identity/impl there is a JBossIdmIdentitySessionImpl.java. Is this functionality working? If it is, any idea how to configure it?
