Assuming a normal scenario, where a rule evaluates multiple variable and gets
fired, if the rule did not get fired then how will I know which variable did
not qualify or resulted in rejection of that rule and also what value of the
variable caused that? I need to error out the variable and the value that
resulted in not firing a rule.

sounds like you need 2 agenda-groups/ruleflow-groups, rules 1-4 will have
one agenda group, rules 5-X will have other agenda-group, the 4th rule's
consequence will set the focus to the other agenda-grouphope this helps

New subject: sequencial rules
You can add an instance of Integer or an extension of Integer, perhaps
a class called StateId, to working memory. Initially set it to1. Add a
condition to each rule to test if the StateId is equal to each rule's
order in the sequence. Add a statement to the action part of each rule
to increment the StateId.
This is a general technique that can be used to manage transitions in a
state machine. The condition parts of rules use StateId to tell which
state the rules apply to and the rest of the condition parts determine
whether to transition to another state or not. The action parts of the
rules modify StateId to execute the transition.

Use the audit log, it shows you what activations occur as a result of
which working memory actions. The examples docs has lots of work
throughs showing how to use it.
