My thought is that we should complement our existing tests with what they
have. We don't have to use their tests, but can be good to run them
manually to verify that we are on track with them.

I'd prefer running tests on regular basis. So either rewriting tests to Java to
match SimplePush code and make them part of it. Or maybe clone their repo and
put .travis.yml that will fetch simplepush server from git and execute tests
against it.
