I'm using JBoss Profiler 1.0 RC3 on JBoss 4.0.3SP1 AS.
All set up procedures have been done. Both front-end and JMS agent can be accessed.
BUT when I click the "invoke" button of "void activete()" in console to run profiler, the result is"the page cannot be displayed". An error happens and terminates the JBoss server.
Error INFO:
JBoss Profiler: Initializing DataGathering

| #
| # Internal Error (50415241.................), pid=3556, tid=5924

Any idea to solve this problem?
Any similar experience to share?
Thanks

Thanks Thomas, I will try that version first, it is a fairly small compile time dependency on a couple of classes that are extended.
Bolek - I will ping you directly regarding the QA as there are some other discussions ongoing relating to machines to use for this, an issue with testing JBoss Negotiation is that it is dependent on having KDCs and web browsers correctly configured.
In the meantime the code that I needed to override can be seen here: -
http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/jbossas/projects/security/security-negotia...
The PortalAuthenticator is the smallest change, if there was an alternative way to disable the pop up for the username and password that would also work.
The next class is the 'NegotiationUserModuleImpl' and this is only a small change to 'LDAPExtUserModuleImpl' to override the 'validatePassword()' method. The overall integration is dependent on the login module from JBoss Negotiation being called before the login module for JBoss Porta - this change to 'validatePassword()' just double checks that the first module was successful.
The final extension was in 'PortalIdentityLoginModule' where I needed to retrieve the username identified as part of the negotiation process, for this change I do need to review further if I can find an alternative way to switch the username.

ok. let's rename to getPersonalTaskList and getGroupTaskList
Heiko, can you elaborate on what exactly you mean ?
getPersonalTaskList is the task list for which the currently authenticated user is the assignee.
getGroupTaskList is the list of tasks that the current authenticated user can take. Taking the task is allowed if
the task has no assignee
| AND (
| the user is a candidate for that task
| OR
| user is a member of a group which is a candidate for that task
| )
|
to what extend does this match or violate what you expect ?
i am in favour os putting both lists in one view/screen: the personal task list on top and the group task list below. And then maybe later add a separate view/screen to query tasks based on filter criteria.

I started writing a core embedded example, like the JMS one Clebert wrote.
I wrote the class, but unfortunately call the common stuff, e.g. build script and common classes are in the JMS tree.
I don't want to reference JMS stuff from a core example.
Looking at it, the JMS common stuff doesn't really involve JMS stuff at all, it's just common stuff that could be used for JMS or core. I think the jms/common stuff should be moved up a directoty into examples/common so it can be used by JMS and core examples.
