How is it controlled again? Don't see a flag in Configuration. If you
can let me know I'll check if any of the AS clustering code does
anything with it. There was something about use of jboss-serialization
in web session replication, but I think it was independent of JBC usage.

I *could* make these work with JBoss serialization as well, but that is
